Murals On Paper are our most economical way to get murals in this size. They are printed in sections on a heavy-duty paper for you to tack or tape to a wall, fence, side of a building, or even to the framing of one of your tents (note to the right).
20x6 Paper murals are
delivered in 6 sections of
10’x2’--so a top, middle
and bottom on the left, and
a top, middle and bottom
on the right. (12x6 murals
are delivered in 3
sections--just a top, middle
and bottom.) Paper is
heavy-duty, but not water
resistant.
We have some clients who
will make a temporary wall
from basic Home Depot
building materials--which
they fasten to tent posts.
Consider thin plywood or
insulation board.
Because it’s in sections
and made of, well, paper, a
paper mural is inherantly
more difficult to move and
rehang after an event. If
you use crayons, it’s
possible. If you use Tem-
pera paint, it’s really not
recommended.
Our usual kit contains 13 bottles of Jazz® Tempera paint (16 oz), 96 paint brushes, 300 little paper “ketchup cups”, 8 metal muffin pans, water spray bottle, and jumbo push pins. (Ketchup cups are neater for paint distribution. Muffin pans help organize those cups and keep them from blowing away.)

Paint works well on this
paper, as do crayons and
colored pencils. Markers,
however, do NOT work well
on our paper
We tell people “a day to a day-and-a-half”, depending on attendance, and the traffic in the area. Murals in really high traffic areas may last less than a day, so consider cordoning off the area to limit painting somewhat. For longer events, consider duplicate prints or our new reusable murals.
