With the addition of our new Wipeable/Reusable materials, our murals make much more financial sense for fairs. You can wipe down the mural at the end of each day of your fair, and then you can save the mural and use it again next year, or for several years if you like.
Mural as a Fair Activity
As an activity, these murals are a fun, warm-and-fuzzy addition to your event. You’ll get participants of all ages---kids, parents, teens and seniors alike.
Design & Customization
We have hundreds of character sets to work with, and dozens of farm, fair and midway looks. We can mix and match character sets and backgrounds to get just what you’d like on your mural. We can also place your logos and even your fair mascot right into the design.
Sponsorship
We can work with you to help get sponsorship dollars to help fund your mural. We can include sponsor logos right into the mural design. OR, since you probably would have a different sponsor next year, we can make the sponsor logo area removeable, so that next year, if you have a different sponsor, we can just replace the sponsor logo square.
Mounting Considerations
Even though we have mural stands to rent or purchase, we highly recommend mounting your mural on a wall. The issue is wind--leaving your mural out overnight on a stand can be a problem. You can pull it off the stand each night--it’s just attached with zip-ties, so it’s pretty easy. However, if you put it directly on a wall, you avoid this issue altogether.
Indoor/Outdoor-Paint vs. Markers
If you use paint (which is certainly more fun!), you’ll have some water runoff when you wipe it down. (Note that the paint is harmless tempera-type paint.) However, if you’re indoors with a floor you don’t want to get wet, you can use Crayola Markers, and wipe off with just a wet sponge, avoiding runoff altogether.

Consider the Rigid Wipeable Plastic if you plan to mount it semi-permanently on one of your walls (either in a general area, or in a themed party room).

Consider the Wipeable Tarp if you’d like to be able to put it up and take it down whenever you like. (Mural comes to you in one piece, with grommets like a regular banners. Rolls up and ships in a tube.)

Both of the above mural types are reusable. You can use Crayola “Washable” Markers or Crayola “Washable” Paint or Crayola “Tempera” Paint, and wipe them off with just water and a sponge. If you’re indoors, though, and would like to avoid water runoff when you wipe, then you’ll want to use the markers, which you can wipe with just a wet sponge.

Consider these for smaller events or parties. These are in a much lower price range, and they’re still great coloring activities using the same character sets as the larger murals. They just don’t provide the same visual that the larger murals do. These are paper, and are not reusable. They work best with crayons.

We have dozens of designs with farm, livestock, fair midways, rides, rodeos, etc. Scroll down to see a sampling. Farther down, there’s an idea for a “Support The Troops” mural, then some examples of how we can draw New Illustrations of things at your fairgrounds. At the bottom are direct links to our design search pages.
Consider this design for a “Support The Troops” addition to your fair. We’ve also heard of organizations sending a mural like this to local troops serving overseas. Click HERE to go directly to our “Signature-Message Mural” page to see pictures and video of how people react to these.
Here are two examples of how we can draw New Illustrations from your photos. In the first design, we drew the entryway wall and the posing family, but we had all the other foreground people and background rides already. In the second, we drew the phone mascot, the ride on the left, and a few other other characters.
