There are several instances where a mural might make sense for you. And note that if you get a reusable mural, you could move it between several of these events.

Cleanliness
Paint is probably not going to work for you. But our Single-Use murals and our Wipeable/Reusable murals work well with Crayola Markers. The Wipeable/Reusable murals just wipe off with a wet sponge, so it’s clean enough for your indoor situations. Here are a few of the events and situations where a mural might make sense.

Special Events
If you have July 4th events, Back-To School events, etc., these make for a nice addition. They can accomodate hundreds of people through the day. They can also be customized to depict the look of your mall, and can include logos of not only your mall, but logos of specific stores that could help sponsor (and pay for) the mural. Also, consider something like our “Support The Troops” mural design farther down the page.

Construction Areas or Empty Storefronts
Consider mounting a mural right to construction plywood, or to the walls covering an inactive storefront.

Christmas Area
Consider a Christmas themed mural to have around your Christmas area. Placed right, kids could color while they’re standing in line.

Play Rooms or Play Areas
This might be tough for an open, unsupervised area. But if you have something smaller and supervised, perhaps this might work.

Consider the Rigid Wipeable Plastic if you plan to mount it semi-permanently on one of your walls (either in a general area, or in a themed party room).

Consider the Wipeable Tarp if you’d like to be able to put it up and take it down whenever you like. (Mural comes to you in one piece, with grommets like a regular banners. Rolls up and ships in a tube.)

Both of the above mural types are reusable. Use Crayola Markers or Crayola Washable Paint or Crayola Tempera Paint, and wipe them with just water and a sponge. If you’re INDOORS, though, and would like to avoid water runoff while you’re wiping, then you’ll want to use the markers, which you can wipe with just a wet sponge.

Consider the Single-Use Tarp if you just need a mural for a one-day or one-weekend event. OR if you want to move the mural somewhere for display afterwards. This material is water-resistant enough to withstand rain during an outdoor event.

Consider our Paper Murals if you just need a mural for a one-day or one-weekend event, and you want the least expensive larger mural. These can be up to $300 less than a Single-Use Tarp (or $450 less than the Single-Use Tarp and Rental Stand combo). But they need a wall to tack or tape onto. Our rental stand doesn’t work with these. This is a heavy-duty paper, but it‘s NOT waterproof. These are printed in 2’ tall strips.

Consider these for smaller events or parties. These are in a much lower price range, and they’re still great coloring activities using the same character sets as the larger murals. They just don’t provide the same visual that the larger murals do. These are paper, and are not reusable. They work best with crayons.

Here’s an example of our Signature-Message mural designs. Consider this design for a “Support The Troops” addition to a July 4th event, Memorial Day, Veterans Day, or another event with a Patriotic or Military tie. We’ve heard of organizations sending a mural like this to a local military base, or even to local troops serving overseas.
